Ringlet: A foreign man and woman escaped with minor injuries after the car they were travelling in was crushed by a fallen tree at Jalan Batu 28, Ringlet, while on their way to Tapah today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Pahang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) spokesman said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 5.09 pm. The spokesman reported that a tree had fallen onto a Perodua Alza, with the occupants, a man and woman in their 40s, sustaining minor injuries.
Upon arrival at the scene, fire and rescue personnel found both victims already outside the vehicle. The team then proceeded to cut the tree using a chainsaw and moved it to the roadside. The operation involved four firemen, including an officer from the Ringlet Fire and Rescue Station, and concluded at 6.38 pm.
