Foreign Worker Management Interviews Delayed Until January 19

Kuala lumpur: All interview-related matters at the Home Ministry's (KDN) One-Stop Centre (OSC) for Foreign Worker Management have been postponed until January 19 to allow for coordination and improvements to counter services.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the ministry announced via social media that the postponement affects post-approval interviews under Section 60K of the Employment Act 1955, quota applications, and employer changes. The ministry assured that other matters not involving interviews will continue as usual from Monday, January 5, and inquiries can be directed to KDN's email at [email protected].

Previously, the ministry indicated that applications for foreign worker quotas for 2025 would be open from January 19 to March 31. This period covers applications for all sectors and subsectors approved by the government on October 1, 2025. These applications must meet the eligibility criteria set, including those for the services sector under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), which had previously closed early.
