Puchong jaya: A man believed to be a foreign national was found dead, suspected to have been murdered, on the staircase of a shophouse in Puchong Jaya here tonight. Serdang district police chief ACP Muhamad Farid Ahmad, when contacted, confirmed the discovery of the man's body. "We will issue an official statement regarding this incident soon," he said.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, it is understood that the victim, who was working in the area, was renting a room in the shophouse. His body was discovered by a member of the public at about 8.30 pm, prompting authorities to arrive at the location for further action. Members of the PDRM Dog Detection (K9) Unit, along with a sniffer dog, were also seen combing the location to assist in the investigation and handling of the body.
