Petaling jaya: A Form Four female student was believed to have been stabbed to death by a male schoolmate in an incident at a secondary school in Petaling Jaya this morning. Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Ismail stated that the incident occurred at about 9.30 am within the school compound, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the suspect, a 14-year-old Form Two student from the same school, was arrested shortly after the incident. 'The motive for the incident is still under investigation, and further details will be provided by the Selangor police chief in due course,' the Inspector-General added while addressing the media after officiating the Anti-Bullying Campaign.
Earlier reports indicated that a female student at a school in Petaling Jaya had died, allegedly after being stabbed by another student in the morning.
