Four Arrested In Investigation Into Body Stuffed In Suitcase

Penang: The Penang police arrested four individuals to facilitate investigations into a murder case involving a body found stuffed in a suitcase near Ampang Jajar Flats, Permatang Pauh here on Oct 9.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail stated that two men and two women, aged between 24 and 32, were arrested separately in several locations within the state and in Perak yesterday.

"I confirm the arrest of the four individuals and they have been remanded for seven days to facilitate investigations into the murder case," Datuk Azizee Ismail revealed. He further mentioned that more information on the arrests and developments in the case would be released in a media conference scheduled for tomorrow at the Penang police contingent headquarters.

The body found in the suitcase has been identified as that of Lee Boon Han, 31, an insurance agent who was reported missing by his family on Oct 8.
