Port Klang: Gamalux Oils Sdn Bhd (Gamalux Oils), a producer of raw materials for biodiesel and animal feed, reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare by hosting Iftar Kasih 2.0, an initiative dedicated to orphans and asnaf from Baitul Sakinah As-Shariff.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Usman Ahmed, stated that the Iftar Kasih 2.0 corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme reflects the company’s dedication to sharing the blessings of Ramadan and supporting those in need. “Ramadan is a time for reflection, giving, and strengthening bonds. At Gamalux Oils, we are committed not only to sustainability in business but also to making a meaningful difference in society. Iftar Kasih 2.0 embodies our pledge to spread kindness and ensure these children experience the joy and warmth of this holy month,” he said in a statement today.

The event, held at Baitul Sakinah As-Sharif in Port Klang, brought together 40 attendees, including Gamalux Oils employees and the home’s orphans and asnaf, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration. The initiative aimed to provide a meaningful Ramadan experience for both company employees and the underprivileged children, ensuring they too could embrace the spirit of the blessed month.

Usman further mentioned that each orphan received duit raya, adding to the festive atmosphere. He expressed hope that Iftar Kasih would inspire more individuals and businesses to cultivate generosity, particularly during Ramadan.
