Tumpat: The General Operations Force (GOF) seized 2,000 units of disposable vape devices worth RM160,000 on the banks of Sungai Golok, under Pulau Ular Bridge, Tumpat, yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, GOF Southeast Brigade commander SAC Ahmad Radzi Hussain stated that the seizure occurred when a motorcycle patrol team spotted several men unloading boxes in the area. As the team approached, the suspects fled to a neighboring country by boat.

The inspection of the abandoned boxes revealed a total of 2,000 disposable vape devices, with an estimated value of RM160,000. The case has been referred to the Tumpat District Health Office for further action. All items were seized, and the investigation is ongoing under Section 10 of the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024 (Act 852).
