Her third throw further extended the Games and national records to 65.09 meters. Grace's fourth attempt reached 65.41 meters, once again breaking both records and securing her gold medal victory. Her final two throws measured 64.01 meters and 64.42 meters, resulting in four new Games records and three new national records in under an hour, and earning the national athletics team their first gold medal at the event.
Meanwhile, Thailand's Koomphon Mingkamon and Kaewasuksri Sawitree claimed the silver and bronze medals with throws of 60.74 meters and 56.27 meters, respectively.
Notably, this victory marks Grace's fourth hammer throw gold at the SEA Games, following her wins in the 2017 (Kuala Lumpur), 2021 (Vietnam), and 2023 (Cambodia) editions.
