GXBank Launches Jaguh Niaga To Boost 10,000 MSMEs

Kuala lumpur: GX Bank Bhd aims to empower 10,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through its Jaguh Niaga initiative. The initiative is designed to provide these businesses with the necessary tools and resources to foster growth and sustainability.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, GXBank announced that the Jaguh Niaga programme will offer inclusive financing via GX Business Banking. This will include access to a suite of digital business tools tailored to help local businesses expand. GX Business Banking, a fully digital solution, aims to simplify banking processes, improve financial access, and offer savings on operating accounts and loan settlements for small businesses.

The GX Biz Account is a key feature of the programme, providing businesses with daily interest of 1.0 per cent per annum and up to 1.5 per cent per annum bonus interest for GXBank ecosystem partners. It also boasts zero monthly fees, no minimum balance requirement, and 24/7 customer support, making it an attractive option for business owners.

Another important product under the initiative is the GX Biz FlexiLoan. This feature offers instant access to growth capital of up to RM150,000. It ensures transparency by eliminating hidden charges on loan applications or utilisation, and businesses can save on interest by settling the loan early.

Hildah Hamzah, GXBank's deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer, emphasized the bank's commitment to setting new industry standards and investing in the MSMEs that constitute over 95 per cent of Malaysia's economy. She highlighted the importance of removing barriers to growth and the role of technology in achieving this goal. The Jaguh Niaga programme aims to enable entrepreneurs to become champions in their respective trades.
