Penang: Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC) today acknowledged a key milestone in Malaysia's halal industry ecosystem following the groundbreaking ceremony of Phase 2 development of PERDA Halal Park, organised by the Penang Regional Development Authority (PERDA). Officiated by YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, the event marks continued progress in strengthening halal industrial infrastructure, particularly in supporting the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the northern region.
