HM The Sultan Embarks on Official Visit to France

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed for the French Republic today on a two-day official visit, following an invitation from President Emmanuel Macron. This visit aims to enhance bilateral relations and explore new avenues for cooperation and partnership between the two nations, benefiting the citizens of both countries.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty the Sultan was seen off at the Royal Airport by several high-ranking officials. These included HH Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, as well as HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, among others. The farewell ceremony also witnessed the presence of various ministers, military leaders, and other distinguished figures.

During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan is accompanied by a delegation of senior officials. The delegation includes HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court; Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority; Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Araimi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the French Republic.
