Hot Weather: Al-Sultan Abdullah Conducts Aerial Inspection Of Sg Pahang

Pahang: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, today carried out an aerial inspection of the current water levels of Sungai Pahang, following the hot and dry weather affecting the country.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Pahang Sultanate, in a Facebook post, said that His Royal Highness conducted the aerial survey while travelling from Bera to Pekan. The post highlighted that the hot and dry season currently affecting the country has drawn His Royal Highness' attention to personally observe the river's water levels, to ensure that all parties remain prepared for the well-being of the people.

Earlier, the Pahang Ruler also urged the public to step up precautionary measures and avoid open burning due to the current hot and dry weather. Al-Sultan Abdullah advised the public to ensure adequate water intake, reduce outdoor activities during the day, and take necessary precautions, especially for vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and those with health conditions.
