Hotel Bookings In N.Sembilan Reach 90 Pct During School Holidays – MAH

Port dickson: Hotel bookings in Negeri Sembilan, especially in Port Dickson, have exceeded 90 per cent during the school holidays, according to the chairman of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), Negeri Sembilan Chapter, Haziz Hassan.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Haziz Hassan stated that the positive trend in tourism, observed from last Saturday through tomorrow, indicates that Negeri Sembilan is becoming a popular holiday destination. He noted that almost all rooms in MAH-registered hotels have been fully booked, not including homestays around Jempol and Kuala Pilah.

Meanwhile, Haziz emphasized that efforts to boost the tourism sector should continue through collaboration between the state government, industry players, and local communities. This collaboration is essential to ensure tourists have a high-quality holiday experience. He highlighted attractions such as Port Dickson's beaches and the unique Perpatih customs, along with homestays and the continuous promotion of tourism offerings, as key factors in boosting tourist arrivals to the state.

Additionally, Haziz mentioned that in anticipation of Visit Negeri Sembilan Year (TMNS) 2026, the state's hotel industry plans to offer special rates, particularly in Port Dickson, for guests who book early.
