IAM and Etiqa Takaful Deliver Crucial Aid to 750 Flood-Affected Families in Kelantan

Kelantan: A total of 750 families from Pasir Mas and Machang, affected by the recent floods, have received essential food and personal care supplies from Islamic Aid Malaysia (IAM) and Etiqa Takaful.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Etiqa Insurance and Takaful's East Coast regional director, Muhamad Nurawi Abdul Rashid, stated that the Kelantan flood victims assistance programme aimed to assist the most vulnerable groups, particularly the asnaf, who have been severely impacted by the flooding.

"We have distributed aid to families from Kampung Kuin Merah and Kampung Lubok Setol in Pasir Mas as well as Kampung Laha in Machang," he said during the distribution ceremony at Masjid Mukim Kampung Lubok Setol today.

Each family representative received essentials such as rice, sugar, milk, cooking oil, wheat flour, and other items, in addition to personal care products and cleaning supplies.

Muhamad Nurawi emphasized that the mission reflects the company's dedication to supporting the well-being of the local community, highlighting its hands-on approach to delivering aid directly to affected areas.
