Shanghai: iFLYTEK has launched GuideX, an intelligent interaction agent for public service environments, at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, unlike conventional digital humans that only answer questions, GuideX is built to complete tasks based on three capabilities: omnimodal, self-regulation, and empathy-driven. These innovative features are designed to enhance user interaction within public service environments.
The first capability, omnimodal perception, allows GuideX to function effectively in crowded venues by integrating voice, face, position, lip movement, and spatial context to determine who is speaking, from where, and why. It supports over 30 languages with an impressive 97.35 percent English recognition accuracy. Moreover, it offers 95.12 percent end-to-end accuracy and boasts more than 200 avatars and over 100 ultra-realistic voices. The entire process, from wake-up to response, is completed in just 0.42 seconds, even under heavy load.
In addition, the self-regulation capability enables GuideX to transform conversations into completed tasks. A dual-track mechanism is employed to manage tasks efficiently, with routine cases adhering to fixed policies and complex cases being handled through adaptive reasoning. Both approaches utilize SkillHub, iFLYTEK's skills platform, which features over 10,000 skills and can be expanded without coding.
The empathy-driven capability is designed for more human-like interactions by interpreting emotional context and responding appropriately. With users' consent, GuideX integrates facial recognition with scene memory to retain service context and preferences, allowing users to pick up from where they left off in previous interactions.
GuideX is currently deployed across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, Latin America, and Africa, and is accessible via smart terminals, all-in-one machines, transparent displays, web, and mobile apps. iFLYTEK has also launched the GuideX Navigator Program in collaboration with eight ecosystem partners, covering sectors such as government services, transportation, hospitality, tourism, and smart commerce.
