Kulim:IJM Corporation Bhd's subsidiary, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a significant design and build contract by AT and S Austria Technologie and Systemtechnik (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the contract, valued at approximately RM1.23 billion, includes the construction of a four-storey production facility, a three-storey central utility building, and a single-storey wastewater treatment facility at the Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Kedah.

The project is slated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is anticipated to be completed within 14 months from its commencement. IJM Corporation expects the project to positively impact its revenue and earnings starting from the financial year ending in 2027.
