Seoul: Interactive Brokers, an automated global broker, has entered into a partnership with Daol Investment and Securities to provide eligible Korean investors with cost-effective access to global equities through Daol's platform, utilizing IBKR's advanced trading infrastructure. This collaboration underscores Interactive Brokers' capability in offering brokerage technology and white-label solutions to introducing brokers on a global scale.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Interactive Brokers stated that by leveraging IBKR's sophisticated trading infrastructure, Daol can offer an enhanced investing experience to its clients. David Friedland, Interactive Brokers Managing Director for APAC, emphasized that their technology, competitive pricing, and broad global market access can help institutions worldwide optimize their business operations and better serve their clients.
Meanwhile, Daol Investment and Securities Chairman, BC Lee, remarked that the initiative with IBKR aims to provide Korean investors with a unique investment experience directly linked to a global securities infrastructure. Lee added, "Through a comprehensive collaboration that includes expanding accessible markets, derivatives, and direct investment services in the Korean market for overseas investors, we plan to develop this into a long-term, two-way global investment platform."
