Ismail Appointed New NSFC Chairman

Negeri sembilan: Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim has been appointed as the new Negeri Sembilan Football Club (NSFC) chairman effective today. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Negeri Sembilan Football Association (PBNS) president Tunku Besar Tampin Tunku Syed Razman Tunku Syed Idrus Al-Qadri announced the appointment following the resignation of Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun. "Datuk Ismail is known within the Negeri Sembilan footballing fraternity. He has been with this team as team manager and understands the values and identity of the state's football," Tunku Syed Razman stated. He expressed confidence that Ismail's experience and leadership will guide the team through professional, sustainable, and competitive club development. Ismail has a long-standing association with the team, having served as the state team manager in the 1990s and early 2000s, and later as PBNS vice-president in 2010. Tunku Syed Razman emphasized that as NSFC chairman, Ismail will steer the club's strategic direction and bolster cooperation between NSFC, PBNS, the state government and stakeholders in a bid to develop football comprehensively. NSFC will maintain its focus on building a professional club that is sustainable and competitive. The club also plans to strengthen player development, club structure, commercial aspects, and relations with communities and supporters, Tunku Syed Razman added.
