Jensen Hughes Acquires Singapore-Based HiLT to Bolster Southeast Asia Operations

Singapore: Jensen Hughes has acquired Singapore-based HiLT Pte Ltd (HiLT), enhancing its presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and expanding its fire protection engineering capabilities across key sectors. The acquisition aims to strengthen Jensen Hughes' support for clients in transportation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and large-scale commercial and industrial developments.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the acquisition allows Jensen Hughes to leverage HiLT's expertise, providing locally informed knowledge underpinned by global resources. Jensen Hughes' CEO, Raj Arora, highlighted the acquisition as a significant step for the company. He noted that HiLT's strong technical capabilities and established presence in Southeast Asia align closely with Jensen Hughes' strategic priorities concerning complex fire and life safety challenges.

Victor Ho, founder and director of HiLT, expressed that the partnership would enhance HiLT's ability to deliver fire and life safety solutions across the APAC region. Founded in 2002, HiLT specializes in performance-based fire engineering design and fire protection systems, with additional expertise in structural fire engineering for steel and mass timber buildings and emerging fire safety solutions like synthetic fluorine-free foam (SFFF).

The integration process has already begun, with leadership from both organizations collaborating to ensure a smooth transition for employees and clients. Jensen Hughes' growth strategy is supported by Gryphon Investors, a leading middle-market private investment firm.
