Johor Plantations Group Sees 51% Profit Surge in First Half of 2025

Johor bahru: Johor Plantations Group Berhad (JPG) reported a 51% year-on-year increase in profit after tax for the first half of 2025, amounting to RM150.64 million. Revenue for this period rose by 12.6% to RM738.72 million compared to the same period in 2024. Although production volumes were lower year-on-year, the group's performance benefited from higher selling prices for crude palm oil and palm kernel, as well as stronger outside crop purchases that helped sustain throughput and enhance profitability.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Board of Johor Plantations Group has announced a second interim dividend of 1.25 sen per share for the quarter. This decision reflects an earnings per share of 3.01 sen, resulting in a total dividend payout of RM31.25 million to reward its shareholders.
