Jumio Reports Strong Q2 2026 On Platform Innovation

Kuala lumpur: Jumio, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered identity intelligence provider, has announced a strong second quarter (Q2) for 2026, driven by platform innovation, executive leadership additions, and expanded customer adoption. Jumio in a statement said the growth in Q2 was fuelled by its vision to replace legacy identity verification with continuous, contextual and connected identity intelligence.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the innovations introduced by Jumio in Q2 are already impacting customers' revenue and user experience, benefiting the bottom line and reducing fraud. Mark Lorion, Jumio's chief executive officer (CEO), emphasized the importance of providing continuous, AI-powered protection to navigate an era where digital trust is a competitive necessity.

Jumio has expanded its platform beyond static onboarding, introducing innovations such as global digital ID acceptance, continuous risk analysis, and frictionless onboarding. In June, Jumio became the first identity intelligence provider to enable digital ID acceptance across over 60 countries and territories through a single integration.

Furthermore, the launch of Jumio Watch in April addresses ongoing identity risks by continuously analysing signals and cross-customer intelligence. This service identifies emerging fraud patterns that static systems miss and offers fraud teams actionable insights.

Jumio has also expanded its selfie.DONE service across Latin America, balancing security with user experience. This solution facilitates frictionless onboarding by allowing previously verified users to confirm their identity with just a selfie.

During Q2, Jumio achieved significant customer growth and appointed Mark Lorion as CEO at the end of April, succeeding Bala Kumar, who served as president and interim CEO since the start of 2026. Mike Sasaki was also appointed as senior vice president of Customer Success.
