Sekolah jenis kebangsaan tamil yahya awal: The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) will provide upskilling and reskilling opportunities through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes for individuals who lose their jobs due to the global supply chain crisis. Its Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan said affected workers, particularly those from the services, manufacturing and construction sectors, would also receive employment assistance through the Social Security Organisation's (PERKESO) MYFutureJobs platform.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ramanan emphasized that workers will undergo job matching to ensure suitable placements. He addressed this initiative while speaking to reporters after launching the MADANI Furniture Initiative and KALVI MADANI Programme at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Yahya Awal. The event was also attended by Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek and Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh.
Ramanan also discussed the benefits of the RM12.8 million MADANI Furniture Initiative, which will provide 39,692 pupils and 5,290 teachers from 361 government-aided Tamil vernacular schools (SJKT) with new furniture and equipment. The supply will include 14 types of high-quality items such as tables, chairs, cabinets, and fans, distributed in phases from this month until August.
Furthermore, Ramanan highlighted that RM8 million has been allocated for the KALVI MADANI Programme. This programme aims to support nearly 10,410 Indian pupils in 315 selected SJKTs with free tuition classes, nutritional support, learning kits, devices, and initiatives for teacher welfare.
