Kuala lumpur: Agencies under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) have been reminded to ensure that there is no overlap in the implementation of planned programmes so that initiatives can effectively reach their target groups. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi emphasized the importance of utilizing the remaining months of this year to ensure that every planned programme runs smoothly and delivers maximum impact to the people.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid, who is also Rural and Regional Development Minister, conveyed this reminder while chairing KKDW's Top Management Meeting at Parliament House. The meeting aimed to ensure the ministry's direction remains aligned with its established goals and aspirations. Ahmad Zahid noted that with the new year approaching, the main focus was to review and realign the programmes currently being implemented and those planned by all agencies under the ministry.
Ahmad Zahid also expressed confidence that with strong synergy and cooperation at both ministerial and implementing agency levels, KKDW will continue to move forward as a focused, efficient and relevant ministry in empowering rural development and improving the people's quality of life.
