KKDW, KEJORA Strengthen Rural Transformation Agenda In Johor

Putrajaya: The Rural and Regional Development Ministry (KKDW) and the South East Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) are set to bolster the transformation agenda aimed at ensuring rural development continues to yield high-impact results.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi shared that the commitment was affirmed during a meeting with Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and KEJORA's top management in Putrajaya. The meeting, described as a pivotal moment, is expected to inaugurate a new phase in efforts to enhance KEJORA's overall strategy.

Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as the Rural and Regional Development Minister, disclosed that the session featured a presentation on the KEJORA Transformation Action Plan. This plan is focused on boosting socioeconomic development and improving the well-being of communities in the south-east Johor region. He emphasized KKDW's dedication to promoting a sustainable, inclusive, and balanced rural development agenda throughout the country, with a particular focus on Johor.
