Klang Selatan IPD Disposes Of Case Items Worth RM636,950

Klang: The Klang Selatan District Police Headquarters (IPD) has disposed of various case items worth RM636,950 involving contraband, gambling activities, general goods, and illegal Bitcoin mining. Klang Selatan police chief ACP Lim Jit Huey stated that the disposal involved 16,869 units of contraband case goods, 899 units of gambling case items, 626 units of articles related to illegal Bitcoin mining, and 162 units of general items for cases that have concluded court proceedings.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, all items were disposed of in accordance with the Inspector-General of Police's Standing Orders Section D207 (PTKPN D207). Lim Jit Huey emphasized the importance of this action in disrupting illegal economic activities through intelligence, community information, and continuous enforcement actions.

The Klang Selatan IPD-level 2026 Case Items Disposal Ceremony was attended by South Klang deputy police Chief Supt Kamalariffin Aman Shah, Klang Court Magistrate Nor Azilah Mat, and Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Salman Alfarisi Nawawi. During the event, Lim highlighted the detrimental impact of illegal gambling syndicates on domestic safety and family structures, and the economic harm caused by illegal Bitcoin mining, including electricity theft.

Lim reiterated the commitment of the Klang Selatan IPD to combat these illegal activities and warned residents against involvement or complicity in such actions. The disposal operation was conducted in collaboration with several agencies, including the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK), the Public Works Department (JKR), and Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), ensuring adherence to legal procedures.
