KLCI Futures Contracts See Slight Dip on Bursa Malaysia

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened marginally lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Friday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.30 am, the July 2026 contract eased half a point to 1,727, while the August 2026 contract saw a decrease of 1.5 points to 1,727. Additionally, the September 2026 contract fell by one point to 1,707, and the December 2026 contract declined by two points to 1,707.

Turnover for these contracts stood at 1,601 lots, with open interest totaling 42,000 contracts. Despite the initial dip, by 9.50 am, the FBM KLCI was 4.41 points higher at 1,726.60, compared to Thursday's close of 1,722.19.
