Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures experienced a decline during the early trading session on Friday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 10.02 am, the December 2025 contract decreased by 1.50 points to reach 1,616.0. Meanwhile, the January 2026 contracts dropped by 0.50 points to 1,620.0, and the March 2026 contracts fell by 1.0 point to 1,602.0. The June 2026 contract remained untraded during this period.
The turnover for the session was recorded at 1,745 lots, with the open interest at 38,738 contracts. The benchmark FBM KLCI saw a reduction of 3.67 points after one hour and 15 minutes of trading, settling at 1,617.40. This compares to the previous day's closing figure of 1,621.07.
