KLCI Futures Open Lower Amid Cash Market Losses

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower today, in alignment with the losses observed on the cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the November 2025 futures contract fell by 16 points to 1,622.0. The December 2025 contract saw a decline of 15.5 points, settling at 1,622.5. March 2026 futures experienced a drop of 14 points to 1,605.0, while June 2026 was 2.5 points lower at 1,623.5.

The market activity saw a turnover of 2,281 lots with an open interest recorded at 44,569 contracts. The benchmark FBM KLCI itself edged down 6.92 points to 1,625.35 after 47 minutes of trading, compared to Thursday's close of 1,632.27.
