Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, tracking the decline in the cash market. At 9.30 am, futures contracts for May 2026, June 2026, September 2026, and December 2026 each fell by 0.5 point to 1,749.0, 1,748.5, 1,729.0, and 1,731.5, respectively.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover recorded 2,002 lots, while open interest totalled 34,636 contracts. The FBM KLCI itself dropped 2.35 points to 1,745.71 in comparison to Friday's close of 1,748.06 after 48 minutes of trading.
