KLCI Futures See Early Decline on Bursa Malaysia

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, reflecting the trend in the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 10.10 am, the May 2026 contract fell by 5.0 points to 1,726.50. The June 2026 contract decreased by 4.0 points to 1,725.0, while the September 2026 contract dropped 3.0 points to 1,707.50. The December 2026 contract saw a decline of 2.0 points to 1,708.50.

Turnover was reported at 2,993 lots, with open interest standing at 33,796 contracts. At 10.12 am, the FBM KLCI itself was down by 7.71 points, standing at 1,719.56, compared to the previous close of 1,727.27.
