Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures experienced gains in early trading on Friday, signaling a positive start to the day.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, as of 9.35 am, the December 2025 contract added 1.5 points to reach 1,630.5. Meanwhile, the January 2026 contract increased by three points to 1,635.0, the March 2026 contract edged up by 0.5 point to 1,616.0, and the June 2026 contract rose by four points to 1,622.0.

The trading session saw a turnover of 1,247 lots, with open interest recorded at 38,193 contracts. The benchmark FBM KLCI itself showed an increase of 3.72 points after 40 minutes of trading, bringing it to 1,629.11, in comparison to Thursday's closing value of 1,625.39.
