Kuala lumpur: Boustead Holdings Berhad (BHB) has strengthened its ties with the community through its 'Korban Kasih 2026' corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme held in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha, and support from its operating company, Royale Chulan Hotels and Resorts.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the programme, now in its second edition, was held at Royale Chulan Damansara (RCD) on the second day of Aidiladha and at Royale Chulan Cherating (RCC) on the fourth day of Aidiladha, involving employees, management, local communities, and korban (sacrificial ritual) participants.

A total of 15 cattle were sacrificed at RCD, while another three cattle were sacrificed at RCC. The sacrificial meat was distributed to the needy and surrounding communities, complemented by a special feast prepared through a gotong-royong activity with the local community.

BHB Group Managing Director Datuk Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad highlighted that the programme reflects the noble values embedded within the company's organisational culture. He noted that the korban ritual fulfills a religious obligation and embodies the values of togetherness, sincerity, and the spirit of gotong-royong central to BHB's culture. The choice of RCD and RCC as locations underscores their significance within the Boustead ecosystem as spaces for gatherings and community service.

Boustead Hotels and Resorts Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Datuk Rosthman Ibrahim emphasized the hotel's commitment to engaging with society through meaningful initiatives. He expressed pride in co-organising the event, underscoring that Korban Kasih not only strengthens relations among employees and the community but also serves as a platform for sharing blessings and instilling humanitarian values.

The statement further reveals that Korban Kasih 2026 reflects BHB's continuous commitment to CSR initiatives that positively impact society, while fostering unity and compassion among its workforce and the community.
