Johor bahru: The Johor branch of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) is seeking two individuals to assist in investigations into a viral case of RON95 petrol being filled into plastic containers beyond the permitted limit at a petrol station in Skudai on March 21.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, efforts by KPDN director Lilis Saslinda Pornomo to trace the individuals, including visits to their last known addresses, have been unsuccessful so far. The individuals are urged to come forward immediately and present themselves at the Johor KPDN office to assist in the investigations.
The case is being investigated under the Supply Control Act 1961. Videos that circulated on social media showed two individuals filling RON95 petrol into plastic containers in the boot of a vehicle at a petrol station in Skudai, with initial investigations suggesting they are locals.
