Kuala Lumpur: KPJ Healthcare President and Managing Director Chin Keat Chyuan has been honoured with the ASEAN Outstanding CEO Leadership in Healthcare Excellence Award at the 2025 ASEAN Leadership and Partnership Forum held here yesterday. In a statement, KPJ Healthcare said the award recognises Chin's visionary leadership in steering the company into a purpose-driven and patient-centric organisation, aligned with ASEAN's aspirations for inclusive, innovative, and sustainable growth.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, since his appointment in September 2023, Chin has led a comprehensive transformation agenda, focusing on financial performance, cultural change, operational excellence, and value creation. Under his leadership, KPJ Healthcare recorded its highest-ever financial results, implemented a group-wide rebranding exercise, and developed the KPJ Health System, which integrates clinical excellence, research, and medical education.

Chin, in the same statement, said the recognition was not his alone, but the result of the dedication of every member of KPJ Healthcare and the strong support from the board of directors and shareholders. "Together, we are not only transforming systems but also reshaping mindsets by nurturing a culture that places patients, physicians, employees, strategic partners, and the environment at the heart of everything we do," he said.

The forum, themed 'Unleashing ASEAN's Potential Through Innovative, Inclusive and Sustainable Growth,' was held at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur. It was jointly organised by the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, ASEAN Economic Club (AEC), ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), and ASEAN Business Club (ABC), in partnership with China Daily and supported by the World Digital Chamber (WDC).
