KTM Komuter Service Disruption on Batu Tiga-Subang Jaya Route Due to Overhead Line Issue

Subang jaya: The KTM Komuter train service on the Batu Tiga-Subang Jaya route faced a disruption this morning following a break in the overhead line. This incident, which took place around 8.30 am, led to a temporary closure of the line between the Subang Jaya and Batu Tiga stations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) announced that the disruption caused commuter train services to experience delays exceeding 60 minutes from the original schedule. Train services were also terminated earlier than planned as operations were restricted to a single track.

The statement from KTMB further detailed that services on the Port Klang-Tanjung Malim route would now end at Shah Alam, Batu Tiga, and Padang Jawa stations. Passengers would be provided with shuttle buses to reach the Subang Jaya station, where they could continue their journey to their intended destinations.

For the afternoon train operations, KTMB stated that trains departing from KL Sentral would terminate at Subang Jaya station. Passengers would then use shuttle buses to travel between Subang Jaya and Shah Alam, after which they could resume their journey on commuter trains from Shah Alam station to Port Klang.

KTMB's technical team is actively working at the site to conduct repair work, aiming to restore and normalize train services as soon as feasible. KTMB issued an apology for the inconvenience caused to passengers and expressed appreciation for their patience and cooperation during this period.
