Local Motorcycle Component Brand RCB Nagamaki Enters MBOR

Kuala lumpur: The country's leading motorcycle component and accessory manufacturer, Racing Boy (RCB), has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for its achievement in producing the first locally designed motorcycle handle grip, RCB Nagamaki Handle Grip, used in the Moto Grand Prix (GP) World Championship.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the recognition was awarded following the successful utilisation of the motorcycle component in professional GP motorcycle racing, including by riders competing in the MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 categories, thereby proving its performance and reliability on the highest stage of international motorsports.

"RCB is deeply honoured to receive this recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records. This achievement not only brings pride to our company and the RCB brand, but is also a source of pride for Malaysia's engineering and manufacturing industry. It proves that products designed and developed by Malaysians are capable of competing on the global MotoGP stage alongside the best international products. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to quality, performance, and innovation," said MKA Group Chief Executive Officer Bruce Lee in a statement today.

Designed and developed entirely in Malaysia by MKA Group's research and development (R and D) team, the development of the RCB Nagamaki Handle Grip began in December 2020 with a specific emphasis on ergonomics, control, and rider performance under extreme racing conditions. The product's design is inspired by the tsuka (the handle of a katana sword) and the traditional Japanese tsukamaki wrapping technique, featuring a unique woven structural pattern engineered to enhance comfort, stability, and control while riding.

Furthermore, the design helps reduce vibration, minimizes hand fatigue and numbness, improves tactile feedback, and provides better grip stability during high-speed riding.
