Kuala lumpur: Suria KLCC Group is brightening up the atmosphere with a campaign themed 'Lotus of Light', to celebrate the beauty of culture, unity and community spirit across its three shopping centres: Suria KLCC, Alamanda Shopping Centre, and Mesra Mall.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the campaign will run from Oct 6-22 in conjunction with Deepavali, which will be celebrated on Oct 20, to drive foot traffic at all three of its properties. The lotus flower serves as an inspiration for this year's Deepavali theme. Suria KLCC aims to create an immersive and unforgettable experience that will bring together Malaysians from all walks of life.
The statement detailed that Suria KLCC's Centre Court will be transformed into a captivating garden featuring a giant, illuminated lotus flower surrounded by colorful kolam ponds and interactive lighting. Two multi-tiered lotus-shaped kolam will flank the centerpiece, along with a large lotus arch at the back, offering a stunning photo-worthy opportunity. Visitors can also enjoy classical Bharatanatyam dance performances and participate in a special Henna Painting Workshop on Deepavali day.
Shoppers at Suria KLCC who spend more than RM1,000 in two receipts will receive a Suria KLCC e-voucher worth RM50. Additionally, purchasing an e-voucher worth RM1,000 on its website entitles shoppers to an extra RM100 e-voucher.
In Putrajaya, the Alamanda Shopping Centre also joins the celebration with 'Lotus of Light' themed decorations at its Centre Court, featuring a lotus pond design and illuminated floral arches that provide a perfect backdrop for family photos. Alamanda continues its Green Ribbon Pin Sale initiative, aimed at raising funds and awareness about mental health in collaboration with selected NGOs. Shoppers who spend RM500 or more in two receipts will receive an Alamanda e-voucher worth RM30, and those spending RM1,500 or more will receive an RM80 e-voucher.
In Terengganu, Mesra Mall, a premium shopping destination on the east coast, will feature decorations inspired by the lotus flower in its concourse. This initiative aims to create a colorful atmosphere and express Mesra Mall's commitment to recognizing and celebrating Malaysia's cultural diversity, ensuring the spirit of Deepavali is felt by every visitor.
