Kuala lumpur: The National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) has selected "Papa Zola The Movie," a local animated film produced by Monsta, to convey themes of love, responsibility, and family as part of the National Father's Day Celebration 2026.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the creative arts approach was implemented through a special screening event attended by over 300 fathers, mothers, and children. This initiative served as an interactive platform aimed at empowering the family institution in Malaysia. LPPKN deputy director-general (Policy) Hairil Fadzly Md Akir highlighted that the film effectively communicates family messages in an accessible manner for audiences of all ages. The animation not only entertains with elements of comedy but also underscores values such as sacrifice, concern, and love of a father, emphasizing the importance of family support and togetherness.
Hairil Fadzly lauded Monsta for producing quality local animation that incorporates values such as love, respect, responsibility, and empathy within the family framework. These values align with LPPKN's mission to enhance family well-being, which forms the foundation for a prosperous society and nation. He reiterated LPPKN's commitment to delivering family-centric messages through various platforms, including creative art forms that resonate with the community and align with the interests of the current generation.
