LTdL 2025: Izzat Relieved To Secure Seventh Position In Fourth Stage

Kuala lumpur: Malaysia Pro Cycling (MPC) rider Mohamad Izzat Hilmi Abdul Halil described his seventh position in the fourth stage of the 2025 Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) today as a relief after finishing in 113th place in the third stage yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Izzat, who is also the best ASEAN rider for the fourth stage today, expressed gratitude towards his teammates who contributed significantly to his achievement. He emphasized their support from the beginning to the end of the race, noting the challenges faced in the last kilometre, which included two hazardous sections.

Izzat shared his determination to maintain his position in the top 10 group during the final stretch, feeling his efforts were justified. Looking ahead to the fifth stage, he acknowledged the challenges posed by the terrain of Bukit Fraser, although he noted it was not as demanding as the previous stage in Gerik.

He remains focused on avoiding a repeat of his 113th placement in the third stage, aiming to sustain the momentum he has built in the competition.
