Rabat:Malaysia Aviation Group is enhancing its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) and engineering operations through strategic partnerships with seven global companies in the aviation, engineering, technology, and logistics sectors.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, these partnerships aim to improve fleet reliability, operational resilience, and establish a foundation for long-term MRO growth. Captain Nasaruddin A Bakar, MAG's president and group CEO, highlighted that the collaborations combine global expertise with MAG's engineering strengths, enhancing support for their airlines and creating growth opportunities for the MRO business.
He emphasized that the focus is not only on standalone maintenance but on building an integrated MRO and engineering platform. This approach is expected to lead to more efficient and reliable engineering operations.
The partnerships, revealed at MRO Asia-Pacific 2026 in Singapore, involve major companies such as Thales, Airbus Flight Hour Services, Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance, The Boeing Company, and Collins Aerospace.
