Seremban: Malabar Gold and Diamonds has launched its eighth outlet at Mydin Mall Seremban 2, offering a range of new gold collections tailored to modern customers' tastes.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Malabar Gold and Diamonds managing director of international operations, Shamlal Ahamed, stated that the eight outlets in Malaysia are located in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Selangor, Perak, and Johor. The company, established in 1993, is the flagship entity of the Malabar Group, an Indian business conglomerate. It currently ranks as the sixth largest jewellery retailer globally, with over 375 outlets across 13 countries, including Qatar, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Australia, and Canada.
"Our new showroom at Mydin Mall here marks another milestone following the success of our outlet at Ampang Point, Kuala Lumpur. The collection here offers gold, diamonds, and gemstones designed to meet customer preferences and tastes. The gold jewellery here is made with 916 gold, which is 22K. MYDIN managing director Datuk Dr Ameer Ali Mydin officially opened the new showroom. Also present was Malabar Gold and Diamonds branch head Nijeesh Parayil. Shamlal said this new outlet will strengthen the company's reach to more customers and further solidify its position as the preferred jewellery retailer in Malaysia.
He affirmed the company's commitment to ensuring quality and sales service, including full value for gold and diamond exchanges. The diamonds sold are internationally certified and sourced responsibly. Shamlal also highlighted the company's transparent pricing policy, which includes displaying the weight of stones, net weight, stone charges, and the best resale value for jewellery purchases.
