Putrajaya: Malaysia and the United Kingdom are advancing their collaboration in green energy and sustainable development, as announced by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah shared the progress in a Facebook post, emphasizing the UK's position as a strategic trading partner for Malaysia. He mentioned that numerous initiatives are under discussion to benefit both nations.
Fadillah highlighted a recent meeting with His Excellency Ajay Sharma, the British High Commissioner to Malaysia, at the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) in Putrajaya. The primary focus of their discussion was enhancing cooperation in green energy and sustainable development.
Fadillah further noted that High Commissioner Sharma expressed a strong commitment to deepening the bilateral collaboration in this sector, aiming for a more sustainable future for both countries.
