National professional men's doubles pair Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Mohd Rumsani admitted that their opponents' superior gameplay was among the reasons for their defeat to the Danish duo, Daniel Lundgaard-Mads Vestergaard, in the Malaysia Masters 2026 final today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Nur Izzuddin stated that the Danish pair executed an excellent performance and maintained continuous pressure throughout the match. He mentioned that this consistent pressure from their opponents was a significant factor in their loss.

Nur Izzuddin also acknowledged that their opponents were able to anticipate their gameplay effectively, which hindered their ability to make tactical adjustments during the match. This strategic foresight by their opponents played a crucial role in the outcome of the game.

In an additional observation, Sze Fei noted the necessity for improvement in their serving and receiving aspects. He emphasized that enhancing these areas is crucial as they prepare for their next tournament.
