Malaysians Praise Government’s Efforts To Ensure GSF Activists’ Safety

Kuala lumpur: Malaysians of all races and ages have praised Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the government for their success in securing the release of 23 Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) humanitarian activists, who are now safely in Istanbul, Turkiye. In Terengganu, the state Gerakan Belia 4B Malaysia chairman Muhammad Shohaimil Haffiz Salleh said the swift success in bringing home the activists required strong diplomatic capability and demonstrated the Prime Minister's credibility in handling crises both at home and abroad.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in Penang, Permatang Pauh Youth Committee member Nur Liyana Sa'idin highlighted the government's efficiency in managing crises through international diplomacy, ensuring the safe return of all 23 Malaysian activists. In Kedah, Food Bank Malaysia chairman Mohd Azrul Mohd Razak emphasized the strength of Malaysia's diplomatic relations, which facilitated the activists' safe return. E-hailing driver Mohamad Sayuti Wan Chik from Kepala Batas also appreciated the government's efforts in ensuring the participants' safety.

In Negeri Sembilan, private sector employee Mohd Arif Arifin expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister's efforts, praising the volunteers' fighting spirit despite the mission's incomplete goal of delivering aid to Palestinians. Civil servant S. Angeline commended the Prime Minister's diplomatic intervention, which involved contacting the Turkish government for assistance. In Pahang, human resources manager Nurul Farhana Abdul Hamid expressed gratitude for the activists' release, attributing it to the Prime Minister's wisdom and diplomatic ties.

In Melaka, clothing trader Puteri Diana Adran conveyed pride in the Malaysian government's swift action. In Selangor, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) student Mohamad Haris Sholihin expressed pride in the leadership's commitment to highlighting Palestinian oppression. Cleaner Kamsiah Mat Ali expressed gratitude for the government's prompt action and highlighted the growing global awareness against Palestinian suffering.

In Kelantan, auto parts dealer Kang Sue Guan and private sector employee Nurul Hanis Mohd Hashim expressed gratitude for the government's success in negotiating the activists' release, highlighting the Prime Minister's commitment to humanitarian values. In Perak, DAP member and lawyer Ong Hui Xue and his fellow DAP members praised the Prime Minister's successful diplomatic efforts. Military veteran Azizan Hassan and self-employed Mior Abdullah from Kampar lauded the activists' courage and dedication to the Palestinian cause.

In Perlis, Dr Ahmad Fadhzil Mohamad, chairman of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Juang, praised the Prime Minister's skill in diplomatic negotiations. UiTM Perlis senior lecturer Rosnani Nazri expressed admiration for the volunteers' dedication, noting the increased global attention on Gaza. Housewife Zarina Ahmad emphasized the importance of continuing such missions for the Palestinian cause.
