According to BERNAMA News Agency, the tournament, held at the Saarlandhalle, saw the top-seeded pair of Aaron-Wooi Yik securing a win against England's Alex Green and Zach Russ, posting a scoreline of 25-23, 21-14. This victory sets them up for a second-round encounter against the Czech duo of Jiri Kral and Ondrej Kral.
Joining them in the next round are the second-seeded Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin, who overcame Scotland's Alexander Dunn and Adam Pringle with a score of 21-17, 22-20. Goh and Izzuddin are now set to compete against Denmark's Daniel Lundgaard and Mads Vestergaard with hopes of reaching the quarter-finals.
