Senawang: A 28-year-old man succumbed to stab wounds to the chest in front of a house at Taman Seri Pagi in Senawang yesterday evening. The incident, which occurred at 6.50 pm, arose from a disagreement between the victim and the suspect, according to Seremban police chief ACP Mohamad Hatta Che Din.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the suspect fatally stabbed the victim with a knife, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.28 pm by a medical officer from Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital (HTJ). ACP Mohamad Hatta stated that the 31-year-old suspect was apprehended at the scene with the assistance of local residents, and a knife was seized as evidence.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, with the motive still under investigation. The suspect has been remanded until August 18.
A 66-year-old neighbor reported hearing the victim's father scream, prompting him to rush outside. He described seeing the victim covered in blood and noted that many neighbors emerged to assist. Together, they helped restrain the suspect with rope to prevent his escape.
