Bagan: A man who was reported missing since July 29 has been found dead, with his skeletal remains discovered in a drain near Kilometre 55.7 southbound of the West Coast Expressway (WCE) yesterday. Bagan district police chief Datuk Supt Mohammad Ali Mohd Jali confirmed the tragic discovery and stated that the 35-year-old man's remains were found at the location where his motorcycle is believed to have skidded.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the police received information about the incident at 3.39 pm. Cleaners cutting grass at the site detected a foul smell, which led to the discovery of human remains and the motorcycle in the drain. Initial investigations suggest that the victim was riding alone from Teluk Intan towards Sabak Bernam when he skidded off the road and fell into the drain.

The victim did not receive assistance following the crash, and some personal belongings, including a mobile phone, a Malaysian passport, and cash believed to belong to the victim, were retrieved from the scene. Mohammad Ali mentioned that a missing person report had been filed by the victim's family at the Teluk Intan police station on August 5.
