Kuala Lumpur: A man from Raub, Pahang, who was under police supervision, was found unresponsive and later died on the way to the hospital. The individual was identified as having chronic asthma and diabetes, along with being a registered person with mental disabilities.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the man was immediately transported to the Emergency Unit of Setiu Hospital, where he was pronounced dead en route by the attending medical officer. Authorities have confirmed that there were no signs of foul play, and the incident has been classified as a sudden death.
The deceased had been placed under a police supervision order at the Penarik Police Station for one year, commencing on April 11. However, he had not reported to the police as required since June 6. Efforts to locate him had been unsuccessful until his discovery on the morning of his death.
