Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and PETRONAS's project management and technical services commercialization arm, PETRONAS Global Technical Solutions Sdn Bhd (PGTSSB), have formed a strategic partnership to advance automotive innovation. This collaboration aims to implement AI-powered predictive maintenance technology, known as ADaPTiV, to transform vehicle upkeep.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the collaboration will utilize PETRONAS's Advanced Diagnostic and Prognostic Technology (ADaPT). Originally developed to enhance structural performance in the energy sector, this predictive analytics technology will now be adapted for use in the automotive industry under the ADaPTiV initiative. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance vehicle maintenance processes through cutting-edge technology.
