MBI Foundation Rewards High Achievers In Sports, Education, Empowerment

Shah alam: The Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI) Foundation today donated RM78,000 to reward 14 high achievers in the fields of sports, education, and empowerment. Foundation chief Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor highlighted that the donation underscores the foundation's commitment to supporting and encouraging the younger generation to excel and bring glory to the state.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MBI Foundation has a history of providing financial support in the realm of sports development, becoming a familiar name among those seeking assistance. Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor noted that the state government consistently offers encouragement and aid to promising individuals, and past contributions have encouraged more applicants to seek the foundation's support. The foundation remains dedicated to assisting those with the potential to excel.

Prominent among the recipients was the Monster Vicious (e-sports) team, which received RM50,000 in recognition of its triumph in the Malaysian Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MPL) Professional League Season 15. In addition, RM22,000 was distributed among nine athletes excelling in taekwondo, archery, boxing, football, and motorsports. Another RM6,000 was awarded to five recipients for their achievements in academics, education, empowerment, and bereavement support.

Ahmad Azri emphasized the foundation's ongoing commitment, stating, "Every year, we will allocate RM1 million for the development of athletes and education, and MBI is always ready to realize the state government's aspiration to produce a successful young generation and create more success."
